Africa produces many of the resources, commodities, ideas and talent that power industries around the world, yet much of their value is still created and captured elsewhere. This plenary explores what it will take for African enterprises to move further up the value chain by transforming what the continent produces into higher-value products, services, technologies and brands. The discussion will examine opportunities for value addition across sectors and consider the investment, capabilities, infrastructure and partnerships needed to build more value in Africa.
