Tony Sgro is the Founder and CEO of EdVenture Partners (EVP). Tony was a member of the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team, competing in international acrobatic skiing and is recognized by the International Ski Hall of Fame as a Pioneer of Freestyle Skiing running freestyle skiing camps around the world. He transitioned from competitive athletics to becoming the Ski School and then Marketing Director at Squaw Valley USA in Lake Tahoe. Leaving the mountain life behind, he became the Promotions Director at CBS in Los Angeles, where he implemented promotions for some of music’s most iconic artists such as Madonna, Jerry Garcia, Stevie Wonder, Stephen Stills, Rod Stewart and Prince, before striking out on his own in 1990 and created EdVenture Partners.
He and his wife Laurel started EdVenture Partners in 1990 and continue to run the organization as a female-owned, small virtual business.
Tony is a graduate of SUNY, Empire State with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Economics. Tony is a global nomad, having visited all 50 US states and over 55 countries throughout the world, many on the seat of his bicycle.
