He is a Ghanaian technology entrepreneur, industrialist and an economist. He is also the CEO of SUKU Technologies, a multi-award winning, technology Solutions Company in Ghana with clients in six countries. He is the Chairman for the Greater Accra Region of the Association Ghana Industries (AGI)
Tsonam was elected in 2024 as Chairman of the Trade and Industry Cluster during the Second Ordinary Session of the Fourth Permanent General Assembly of the African Union’s Economic Social and the Cultural Council (AU-ECOSOCC).
Tsonam has distinguished himself locally and internationally having done business successfully in over 50 countries. He speaks globally on the digitalization of business processes, using technology to enhance results, TVET, technology for development, financial management, industrial issues, fintech, agritech, African integration and trade issues, industry-academia collaborations, African - Caribbean Trade relations among others. Most recently, he was the guest speaker at the CEANA Convention in Houston USA, London Tech week in the UK, Standard Chartered Bank west Africa’s Board and management Retreat, Africa Tech festival in Cape Town among others. He is a Global Shaper and the Founding Curator of the Ho Hub of the Global Shapers Council of the World Economic Forum.
He leads the Kadodo Africa initiative, which allows African businesses to be profiled and authenticated to directly benefit from the AU continental free trade agreement.
He is a member of the Governing Council of the Accra Technical University (ATU), Methodist University-Ghana, and the Ghana Construction Machinery Mechanics Training Institute (CMMTI) of the NVTI.
He is a Jack Ma’s Alibaba eFounders initiative fellow, a Mandela Washington Fellow, President Obama’s USADF Grant Prize for Young African Leaders, UNDP Youth CONNECK Fellow and Tony Elumelu Entrepreneur. He won the 2025 Ghana’s CEO of the year Awards (SME category), 2024 Promising Entrepreneur of the year, the 2020 Ghana’s FortyUnder40 Awards in Technology and Innovation. In 2014, he received, African’s Top 35 under 35CEOs Achievement Awards. He was awarded the Africa’s Young Visionary Entrepreneur Award in 2013 by the African Leadership Magazine-UK. In 2012, he received the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award by the UNDP.
He received his Business and Entrepreneurship training at the Alibaba Business School, in China and also at the Clark Atlanta University Business School in the US. Tsonam ccompleted the Stanford SEED Programme of Stanford Graduate School of Business. He earned a Master of Business Creation (MBC) from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business. He holds a master’s degree in Economic Policy Management (EPM) and a BA in Economics and Political Science both from the University of Ghana, legon. He attained his post-graduate education in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the Ghana Technology University. He also received part of his education in Jungian Psychology from the institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, Gavle University, Sweden. In addition, He has a Diploma in Financial Management from CIM-UK. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Economist Ghana.
