Cassava Value Chain as Food Security in Nigeria

Cassava Value Chain as Food Security in Nigeria

Ayosifam Integrated Service Ltd addresses the challenges faced by smallholder cassava farmers in Nigeria, particularly women, who struggle with post-harvest losses, limited market access, and exploitation by middlemen. By processing cassava into versatile food products like Garri, Lebu, and dried fermented cassava (Elubo Lafun), Ayosifam extends the shelf life of cassava from three days post-harvest to over one year and ensures stable income for farmers.

We ensure a rapid marketing system for the farmers by creating an online marketplace (www.ayosifamhub.com.ng) to connect smallholder rural farmers to a wider market while eradicating the middlemen who often eat up their profit.
