Hellam Group of Companies is a Ugandan company that was established in 2015, and is fully registered by the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) as a limited liability company (LLC). The company is a small and growing business (SGB) involved in the commercial production of soybeans through its TesLyt Farms Project. It began agro-production of soybeans in March 2020, with only 3 acres, then expanded to 30 acres in 2021 and to its current 100-acre farm based in Bukedea District, Eastern Uganda. The project also engages thousands of farmers in the production of the much-sought soybeans by, on the one hand, giving them access to affordable and high-quality seeds and, on the other hand, giving them a guaranteed market for their produce, enabling the farmers to participate fairly in the chosen value chain.
