Doorcas Africa - Herd Health Tech + Livestock Co-ownership
Doorcas Africa - Herd Health Tech + Livestock Co-ownership

In Africa, livestock mortalities reach as high as 15%, with farmers losing a significant portion of their animals to preventable diseases and infections. Many operate on very small scales without the financial capacity to access professional veterinary services, making them highly vulnerable to uncontrollable losses that undermine their productivity. In Nigeria alone, this translates to over $1.5 billion in annual losses. These challenges also spill into the wider livestock market, creating inconsistencies in supply, higher risks for buyers, and reduced confidence in sourcing from smallholder farmers.

We provide an agrisupply chain platform that combines livestock co ownership with veterinary services and animal health technologies to guarantee healthy, casualty free production for B2B buyers
Doorcas Africa provides Vet-as-a-Service, real time farm insights, and a  agriplatform that connects farmers with B2B buyers and sponsors, ensuring healthy, casualty free livestock while boosting farmer resilience, productivity, and access to markets.

Through our web app and WhatsApp channels,  we coordinate our Vet-as-a-Service model, farmers get affordable access to veterinary expertise and continuous monitoring, including direct vet care, vaccination reminders and disease reporting, allowing farmers to quickly report suspected infections. The reports are processed in real time and analyzed with AI powered algorithms to detect early patterns of outbreaks. Farmers receive timely, actionable insights that help them prevent disease spread and improve animal health outcomes. This model stabilizes their farms, making them casualty free and investment-ready.

On the other end, our agriplatform connects farmers to B2B buyers and sponsors. Buyers benefit from reliable, healthy livestock supply chains, while sponsors can co own livestock with farmers, derisking their investment through our health monitoring technology.

This creates an end to end ecosystem, farmers reduce losses, vets scale their impact, sponsors find safe investment opportunities, and buyers receive steady, high quality supply.
