JM Medicare Services Ltd is a community-based health organization located in Ndese town, Mukono District, Uganda. Founded in 2022 by nurse and trainer Jovulean Itungu, JM Medicare was created to make quality healthcare accessible and affordable for everyone, especially those in rural and underserved areas.
The medical center provides a wide range of services, including general medicine, laboratory tests, dental care, antenatal services, telemedicine consultations, and home-based nursing. In 2023, JM Medicare launched RuralMed Wagon, a mobile clinic that takes healthcare directly to remote villages, helping people who struggle to reach hospitals.
Through its work, JM Medicare has served thousands of people, improving access to medical care, health education, and preventive services. The organization’s mission is to bring hope and healing to communities by ensuring that healthcare is not a privilege for a few, but a right for all Ugandans.
