Our poultry project is a family-run business focused on raising and selling quality broiler chickens. We start each production cycle by purchasing 200 day-old chicks, which we raise over a 6-week period. We space our batches every two weeks to ensure a steady supply of fresh poultry to the market.
At 6 weeks, the chickens are sold either alive or dressed according to customer preference. This dual offering allows us to cater to diverse market demands, including households and small-scale vendors.
The project emphasizes good husbandry practices to maintain bird health and ensure high-quality meat. Our efficient batch system helps us maximize production while managing resources sustainably.
Through this project, we provide fresh, affordable poultry to our community, generate income for our family, and create employment opportunities as the business grows. We are committed to expanding our operations to contribute to local food security and economic development.
