Snap Scholar is an innovative educational initiative by Technovole, designed to address the significant educational disparities faced by students in Uganda's refugee settlements. The project aims to connect these students with global teachers through a state-of-the-art virtual learning platform.
This platform leverages solar-powered tablets to ensure accessibility, even in areas with unreliable electricity. Unlike existing solutions, Snap Scholar offers offline learning capabilities, a personalized teaching experience through a matching engine, and interactive tools that facilitate continuous, high-quality education.
The project is driven by a commitment to providing equal educational opportunities to over 600,000 school-aged refugees, addressing the shortcomings of current government and NGO programs.
Our mission is to provide equal access to quality and inclusive education to refugee communities and IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons) globally through accessible technology.
