Communities along the River Nile in South Sudan face recurring floods, droughts, and food insecurity. Traditional farming and fishing methods are no longer enough to meet the growing challenges of climate change. Youth and women remain underutilized despite being the largest potential workforce. Climate-smart agro-fisheries provide a solution by combining fish farming, sustainable agriculture, and climate-resilient practices to ensure food security, livelihoods, and environmental protection.
