Hello, my name is Flavian Machimbirike, and I am the Co-founder and Managing Director of Logarithm Corporation, based in Harare, Zimbabwe. Our company specializes in providing micro-insurance, HR platform services, and custom software development services.
Tell us about how you got started.
We began our journey in 2019 with the vision of revolutionizing the tech industry in Zimbabwe, we spent two years diligently building platforms without any immediate customers and in 2021 we signed our first contract.

No business is without setbacks, can you tell us about a time when you faced a significant setback and how you recovered from it?
One significant setback we faced was the challenge of acquiring customers after investing time and resources into platform development. However, we adapted by enhancing our marketing strategies and actively networking within the industry. This resilience ultimately helped us recover and attract new clients.
How do you define success and to what do you attribute your success?
For me, success is not just about financial gain but also about making a positive impact on our clients and community. I attribute our success to our talented team, unwavering determination, and commitment to continuous improvement.

In the next five years, we envision Logarithm Corporation as a leading tech firm in Africa, expanding our reach and portfolio of services while maintaining our reputation for excellence and innovation.

Balancing personal life with business responsibilities is indeed challenging. I prioritize self-care by setting boundaries, delegating tasks, and making time for hobbies and family.

A favorite mantra of mine is "Innovate, Adapt, Succeed." It reminds me to stay flexible and creative in navigating both professional and personal challenges.
