Global HIV Information System

The global HIV information system (GHIS) is a non for profit, non political, educational platform for visible minorities of African, Caribbean and Black (ACB) origin infected or affected by HIV.

The objectives of the global HIV Information System are as follows:


- To serve as a bilingual/multilingual information platform for people living with HIV
- To serve as a preventative platform for people at risk of contracting HIV
- To serve as an information platform for visible minorities of African, Caribbean and Black (ACB) origin infected with HIV.
- To serve as an anonymous information platform, especially for men from ACB immigrant minorities who have sex with other men, transsexuals, sexually oriented men and Queers.
- Organize scientific seminars on HIV at the community level to bring the scientific community closer to patients, infected people and the general population.
- Connect people living with HIV/AIDS to existing resources that can help them solve their drug, mental or societal problems.
- Use existing community centres as a platform for high-level information and scientific communication.
- Invite scientists working on HIV / AIDS to conduct community-level seminars to transfer knowledge to patients and health workers and inform the community about scientific developments in the field of HIV.
- Aspire in the long term to be a global information platform for HIV infected and affected people around the world.
