Tutsirai was awarded the Top Female Entrepreneur of the Year in 2021 by The American Association of Female Entrepreneurs, Africa Female Business of the Year with International Footprint 2021 from CWENA Network of Africa and was awarded Female Entrepreneur of the Year from Woman Excel Zimbabwe in 2021. She went on to be awarded Brand Building Coach of the year in 2022 by Human Capital Institution of Zimbabwe & was given the Mentor of the year award by International Mentorship & Coaching Foundation in 2022.
Tutsirai headed some of the top advertising agency teams in Africa as Creative Director. She is trained in IP with World Intellectual Property (WIPO), which gives her skills in navigating idea generation. She is a trained facilitator in leadership development through the John C Maxwell Facilitator Program. Tutsirai, together with her husband, leads an international music team under Dr Goodwill & Pastor Maureen B Shana, founders of Word of Life International Ministries. Tutsirai believes that we should live life creatively and bring impact to those around us.
She runs her own various brands, The Step Out Foundation, Shepherds Square Real Estate which has currently set up a Medical Center in Borrowdale, Zimbabwe, and CCMAD (Creativity Can Make a Difference) - a non profit organization aimed at empowering young people through fostering safe spaces for them to innovate, create and invent!

Confabs are free events open to the entire ELISA portal community, which includes high potential entrepreneurs and founders with bold ideas for solving the greatest challenges we face in Africa. Attendees also include industry executives, investors, venture capitalists, philanthropists, researchers, educators, government regulators, policy makers, founders and entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey.
During the confab, an inspirational speaker or thought leader provides remarks for 10-minutes focusing on their professional journey, particularly as it relates to entrepreneurism in Africa. This is followed by randomly assigned small group virtual breakout sessions where attendees connect with others, discuss bootstrap briefs and gain recognition for their business, project or idea.
