ELISA CONFAB EVENT

Our speaker, Pascal Musarira is the Managing Director of Norrsken East Africa, leading the organization’s efforts to create the largest hub for entrepreneurs in the region. He is an experienced agri-business consultant and entrepreneur passionate about promoting sustainable development in Africa.

Norrsken is an impact ecosystem where entrepreneurs can find everything they need to make saving the world their job. With a vision is to enable the next impact unicorn, the company that has a positive impact on one billion lives.

Prior to joining Norrsken, Pascal worked as a Business Manager for Africa at AgroCares, where he was responsible for developing new business partnerships and managing existing ones. He has also worked as an independent consultant, providing expertise on various agri-business issues. Pascal is a strong advocate for the use of technology to improve agricultural productivity and sustainability. He is also a passionate supporter of entrepreneurship, and he believes that startups have the potential to drive positive change in Africa.

Confabs are free events open to the entire ELISA portal community, which includes high potential entrepreneurs and founders with bold ideas for solving the greatest challenges we face in Africa. Attendees also include industry executives, investors, venture capitalists, philanthropists, researchers, educators, government regulators, policy makers, founders and entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey.

During the confab, an inspirational speaker or thought leader provides remarks for 10-minutes focusing on their professional journey, particularly as it relates to entrepreneurism in Africa. This is followed by randomly assigned small group virtual breakout sessions where attendees connect with others, discuss bootstrap briefs and gain recognition for their business, project or idea.
