Most businesses already have enough to deal with. So adding something new like AI can feel overwhelming. That’s why it’s important to start small. Look at your current bottlenecks. Are you spending too much time writing the same kinds of emails? Struggling to come up with fresh marketing content? Manually summarising data or reports? These are the kinds of tasks generative AI is good at. You do however need to remember that AI cannot entirely work on it’s own. You still need to guide it to get the results you want and double-check what it produces to avoid sending out or using anything that’s off, inaccurate or just doesn’t fit your tone. It’s a tool, not a substitute for thinking.
Don’t go overboard overhauling your whole business model. Just identify one or two areas where you keep repeating yourself or wasting time and test an AI tool there. If it works, build from there. If it doesn’t, try something else. We are only trying to improve how we operate, not to add more pressure.
