When just starting to integrate AI, enterprise-level subscriptions or a dedicated AI engineer is probably too much to invest in. Start with tools that are free or low-cost first. AI-powered apps or open-source models can go a long way when used well. You can use them to write captions, generate product descriptions, plan newsletters or even clean up your writing. This is especially useful for small teams or solo entrepreneurs. If, for example, you don’t have the budget to hire a marketing person or you’re running a small team without a full department, AI can help you write drafts or brainstorm ideas. You can always review and tweak the work yourself.
This doesn’t replace a person, but it does give you the ability to move forward while you work towards hiring people, if and when you need them. And if you already have a marketing team, AI shouldn’t be used to cut roles, but to give them tools that make simple and repetitive tasks easier, freeing up their time for more creative or strategic work. The same goes for you as a solo entrepreneur. It’s there to give you breathing room to focus on higher-value tasks.
