Even the most well-oiled systems still need direction. Automations break. Contractors make mistakes. Processes stall. And when they do, the system will not fix itself just because it worked last time. It needs someone watching. Someone steering.
This is especially true when you are scaling. The more layers you add: team members, partners, platforms, the easier it becomes to assume someone else is handling it. But that assumption can cost you. Cost you trust. Cost you money. Cost you momentum. Every system needs someone who owns it. If that’s not clear, you end up with confusion at best and disaster at worst.
So yes, build processes. Set up the systems. Hire the help. Just do not mistake those things for absolution. Ownership still has to live somewhere and if it’s your business, it lives with you.
